A1: Before installation, complete these essential steps:
Check Gate Type and Alignment: Verify whether you have a single or double swing gate. Ensure the gate posts are level and plumb, and that the hinges rotate smoothly without friction or sagging.
Survey the Site & Power Source: Confirm there is sufficient clearance for the operator arm to swing smoothly. Ensure appropriate outdoor wiring or power supplies are ready and compliant with electrical standards.
A2: Follow this quick three-step diagnosis:
Electrical System: Check if the power supply, backup batteries, circuit breaker, or fuses are working properly.
Mechanical System: Inspect for physical obstacles, track binding, or heavy resistance along the gate's movement path.
Safety Sensors: Ensure photocells or safety infrared sensors are clean, properly aligned, and unobstructed.
A3: You can perform a reset in two ways:
Soft Reset (Power Cycle): Turn off the main power and disconnect backup batteries for 30–60 seconds to clear temporary system glitches without losing settings.
Control Board Reset: Keep the unit powered on, then press and hold both JOG OPEN and JOG CLOSE buttons on the control board simultaneously until the unit beeps. (Note: Re-pairing remotes and resetting travel limits may be required afterward.)

Soft Start & Soft Stop: Slows down movement at the start and end of travel to minimize mechanical impact and noise while extending hinge and gear life.
Overtime Protection: If travel limit switches fail or the gate gets jammed, the control board automatically cuts motor power after 90 seconds to prevent overheating or burnout.
